Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This page explains what data djglanz.com collects, how it's used, and what your rights are. The short version: booking runs over plain email, analytics are cookieless and aggregate, and there are no tracking cookies anywhere. Written in plain English because legalese tends to hide things that matter. If something is unclear, email damjan@dabotech.io.
Who's responsible for your data
This site is operated by:
- Dabotech Studio d.o.o. (Croatian LLC), the company behind DJ Glanz
- Šišićeva ulica 2, 10010 Zagreb, Croatia
- OIB (tax ID): 59523621065
- Contact: damjan@dabotech.io
There is no dedicated Data Protection Officer. Damjan Dabo, the director, handles privacy requests personally.
What data is collected
1. Booking emails
Booking on this site works by email: you write to damjan@dabotech.io, and we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write (usually a name, a date, and a venue). There is no form and no database behind it; your message lives in the company mailbox, which runs on Google Workspace.
- Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in keeping records of business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f))
- Retention: for as long as the inquiry and any booking that comes out of it are live, plus the statutory retention periods Croatian law sets for business records. Inquiries that go nowhere get deleted on request.
- Not a mailing list: emailing about a booking subscribes you to nothing. There is no newsletter.
2. Analytics
Aggregate pageview statistics are collected via Plausible Analytics, an EU-based, privacy-focused analytics service. Plausible is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors. We see numbers like “how many people visited this week” and browser- and country-level breakdowns. Nothing that points to you specifically. All analytics data is hosted on EU servers and never sold or shared.
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps brief technical logs (IP addresses, user agents, request paths) for security and debugging. These are retained per Vercel's policy and not shared.
4. The YouTube embed
The live set on this site is a YouTube embed behind a click-to-load cover. Until you press play, nothing loads from YouTube and no data about you reaches Google. Once you press play, YouTube (Google) processes data under its own privacy policy, the same as watching any video on youtube.com.
Who your data is shared with
Data is shared only with the services needed to run this site:
- Vercel (USA/EU): hosting and server logs
- Plausible Analytics (EU): privacy-focused, cookieless analytics
- Google (USA/EU): the company mailbox runs on Google Workspace, so booking emails are stored there; YouTube processes data only if you play the embedded video
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. Plausible processes data exclusively within the EU; Vercel and Google rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for any EU-to-US transfer.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. No ad cookies, no cross-site trackers, no consent banner needed. Plausible Analytics is cookieless by design, and the YouTube embed stays inert until you press play.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with AZOP (Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency, azop.hr), or with the data protection authority of your EU country
To exercise any of these rights, email damjan@dabotech.io. We'll respond within 30 days, usually faster.
Children
This site isn't aimed at anyone under 16 and we don't knowingly collect data from children. Booking a DJ is an adult errand anyway.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes meaningfully, the “Last updated” date at the top reflects it. The policy always describes what the site actually does, nothing more.
